NYC Subway Font

Font made entirely from lines in the redesigned NYC subway map, as part of Advanced Graphic Design: Ad Hoc Series and Systems. 
I designed a font made entirely out of lines from the redesigned NYC subway map.

The new map was released in 2025, reminiscent of the original Vignelli map that was used from 1972 to 1979.
I used these letterforms to complete a pamphlet as part of Advanced Graphic Design: Ad Hoc Series and Systems. I discussed issues with the MTA as described by riders on reddit. I used these ornate letters as drop-caps.
