Irma Boom Internship*
05.21.23 – 08.26.23
I worked for three months as a studio apprentice for book designer Irma Boom in her Amsterdam office.

During my internship, I was responsible for completing the following tasks, among others:

  • Formatting images and setting copy in book designs for Vatican Library and Viviane Sassen, among others
  • Sketching book cover designs
  • Installing vinyl graphics on the walls of the Rijksmuseum
  • Designing Rijksmuseum gift shop merchandise
  • Designing Rijksmuseum invitations and posters

Having signed a nondisclosure agreement prior to beginning my internship, I am reluctant to share information about specific projects, assignments, and clients whom which I worked. However, upon request, I am happy to elaborate further where I can.

This unpaid internship was funded by scholarships I earned through Yale Fellowships and Funding.
